A Business Simulation — Footrace Prototype
Strategy Lab is our independent, working prototype of a business simulation inspired by Capstone’s Footrace format: one player manages a company against five computer-controlled competitors. It includes research and development, marketing, production and finance.
The simulation currently runs locally on Maxwell, our development computer. It is not yet available to play on this website. We are happy to demonstrate it to interested colleagues.

We have reproduced some of the simulation’s functions, but substantial development and validation remain. This is an experimental teaching tool, not a finished replacement for Capstone or a classroom-ready system. Our aim is to explore how a school might adapt a simulation to its own courses, learning objectives and pedagogy.
